I like the books; although, Grey are all pretty similar and predictable. This inwcdeveloped the characters a little more; however it heavily depends in the reader having read the previous stories to know who is who. The wedding seemed thrown in just to have past characters in the story. The sex scenes we best with Chris and Cynthia because they went into detail ad went back and forth with each being sub or dim. Since then all relationships have been at warp speed and male. Plays dominant role. I would like to see one book that explores bisexuality more and more interaction with all the characters from the boiks.Product details

I love this series! The author does a great job of incorporating past characters in each book, so it's like you get updates on them. This series makes a great vacation read.

My favorite of the series so far!
Love Jillian and her personality. It's nice to hear from Connor again (met him in "A Little Harmless Lie") and their relationship develops quickly (as in all these kinds of books).
The premise had some potential, but as I’ve noticed frequently with this author’s style of writing, she doesn’t really develop the relationship and growth between her characters; they just jump right in and suddenly start having grandiose feelings and assumptions about each other in literally a few days without any substantive and incremental development or dialogue. Speaking of doslogue, it’s very amateurish and could be much authentic like how she describes Hawaii and the locales. Everything is forced and trite, and we’re supposed to rely on brief mentioning of history between the characters to make their sudden relationship more meaningful.
Furthermore, the so-called BDSM is really lacking and extremely mild in the form of a few scarves, some spanking, and a little orgasm control, which is very limited and unimaginative and uninterestin when there are so many things to explore within D/s. I do appreciate the author including a lot of detailed oral pleasure for the woman, however. She also makes Hawaii and the locales seem authentic, but that’s where her strengthes end.
Additionally, the idea that certain characters who are supposed to be so intelligent and have worked in high level government positions figure out at the last minute what’s going on is equally eye rolling and annoying and just plain stupid.
Lastly, what further annoys me and distracts me from really getting in this story and her others are way too many obvious spelling and grammatical issues. Who is editing and checking for these things cuz this is just plain dumb and lazy, not to mention the amount is just appallingly unacceptable.

I wasn't so sure about reading Conner's story. I really didn't get a feel for him in Micah and Dee's story. I was reluctant but decided that since I liked all the books so far, his story has to be good. It was very good. I really liked getting to know Conner and Jillian. Her back story was emotional and wonderful. She is a woman that knows what she wants and knows how to keep them guessing. The chemistry between the sexy security expert and the alluring romance writer was explosive and their sex scenes were very steamy to say the least. I was surprised at who was trying to hurt Jillian. I was glad that she was able to form a family bond with one of her mother's relatives. It was spot on. Another fabulous story by Melissa. I loved that we were able to catch up on everyone during the wedding scene. I wonder is Danny Aiona will get a story of his own. He likes the older ladies - yum.
When Conner goes to Hawaii to RELAX with his sister's best friend, he never planned on falling in love or having to protect her. But he did both and became a better man for it. As a couple they had such chemistry and Jillian was the one woman that could keep Conner under control! Love them!
